Jian Zhang, Post-Doctoral Fellow
Rare species conservation and species distribution modeling
Jian’s research interest spans a broad range of topics, including community ecology, conservation biology, macroecology, climate change, forest dynamics, and spatial statistics. His research involves a wide range of spatial scales (from local to global) and a variety of taxa. Currently, his researches mainly focus on the following questions: What determine species diversity patterns at local and global scales? How do these patterns and underlying ecological processes change under climate change and increasing human disturbance?
